Carrie Wilkerson first came into my life a little over a year ago. I came upon her quite by accident when she wrote an article for an inspirational newsletter I get daily. I was so impressed with this article that I signed up for her newsletter, joined her fan page on facebook , watched some meaningful videos and have been a part of numerous classes and teleseminars hosted by her. Carrie is also known as The Barefoot Executive – a nickname her husband gave her and now has her “branded” all over the Web. Anyone and everyone in the world of Internet marketing knows The Barefoot Executive … before long we’ll do a note on “branding” and finding your own unique style.
A little over a year ago found me sitting hours and hours in the bedroom of my sister, Jonell, while she was in hospice care. She died a year ago this month. But her story is for another time.
Carrie and all she had to offer was like a breath of fresh air. She helped me remember that there would be a life after ‘Jonell care’. She helped me re-establish dreams that had gotten forgotten. Carrie prompted me to take that first step in learning a new skill. Because of Carrie I was encouraged to believe in myself and what I had to offer. I was reminded of the fact that we all have talents and something to offer this world … in order to make it a better place. Because of Carrie’s encouraging words, I started writing again – opened my first Wordpress site and have been writing ever since.
I am honored to spotlight Carrie on this page. Watch and listen to her videos. Read some of her articles. Sign up on her fan page. Join her mailing list. If you have ever, ever dreamed of developing your skills and talents into a marketable resource you owe it to yourself to give Carrie Wilkerson some undivided attention. Ya gotta love ..The Barefoot Executive.
